The Professional Golfers' Association of America (with or without the apostrophe and also known as the PGA of America) is the world's largest working sports organization, comprised of 27,000 men and women golf Professionals who are the recognized experts in growing, teaching and managing the game of golf, while serving millions of people throughout its 41 PGA Sections nationwide. Although the PGA logo is a registered trademark and cannot be used on promotional products or decorated apparel without permission from the organization, there are many unscrupulous companies that traffic in counterfeit PGA merchandise. The most counterfeited PGA apparel item is golf shirts (also known as polo shirts). In addition, the top golf shirt brands are counterfeited such as Nike, Adidas, Ping, Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, Izod and Arnold Palmer. The second most counterfeited PGA apparel item is t-shirts, with printed t-shirts being the most popular followed by embroidered t-shirts. Tied for third place are embroidered patches and hats. The least counterfeited PGA apparel items are sweatshirts and hooded sweatshirts (hoodies). The mission of The PGA of America is to promote enjoyment and involvement in golf among the general public, as well as to contribute to the game’s growth by producing services to golf Professionals and the industry. The PGA seeks to accomplish this mission by enhancing the skills of the PGA Professionals and expanding playing opportunities for the general public, employers and manufactures. Through these efforts, The PGA elevates the standards of the PGA Professional’s vocation, enhances the economic well-being of the individuals PGA member, stimulates interest in the game of golf and promotes the overall vitality of the game.

Hi David , I was the guy at Bethpage yelling and cheering you on at Bethpage. I was right to your left on 17 tee. That wqas the greatest tournament I ever attended , because a lot of people there were following Phil but you came up through the pack and almost took it. Right now your on the back nine at Peeble closing in. I think it is unreal that after being number one almost ten years ago that you are back. I and a LOT people from Maine ( I am originally from Maine) are behind you all the way. Good luck and God Bless. Joe Siemion

was wondering if anyone knows a contact email for david duval, i was watching the us open today and noticed david wearing an fdny button on his collar, i was told he was deeply touched by 9/11 and wore it out of respect. As a nyc fireman myself for ten years who spent many days at the "site ", id just like to thank him myself somehow as to how much that meant to me i was very moved by it. any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats, David, from a fellow Jacksonville native.  My dad and son went to Georgia Tech, and my grandfather won a golf tournament in old Jacksonville, at the Florida Country Club in 1916!  You are a class act, with quiet dignity, and all from Jax are proud of your comeback.  Best wishes, John

Great opening 2 rounds in Texas!!

I watch for your scores every week, and always am wishing you the best.  I went through some neck and shoulder injuries several years ago that set my game back.  I watch for you as I return to a resemblance of my former game.

Good job!

I really admire the way David Duval is honest about the way he feels about the game of golf today, he shows courage and maturity. He may be stumbling at the bottom of the mountain, but he has climbed it once before and got to the very top to see the splendid view. I think if someone told you you were going to experience the things he has in golf then you wouldn't be too disapointed. There would be nothing sweeter than to see one of the modern day truly gifted players like DD win again for himself! He will I am sure if he really wants to that is.

David,

Only the begining.  3 wayward shots in 4 days is a pretty good indicator that you are close to returning to your rightful leadership position on the tour.

Don't lose hope
