padres never brought him up from AAA for a look in '08 when he was leading the team in hitting--padres had the 2nd worst record in NL 63-99--broke his heart...a former padres fan

Pete used to teach my son batting skills in Smithtown.  He is a wonderful person and very caring.  He took my son under his wing and motivated him to do his best not only on the playing field but as an individual.  He is truly an incredible person who left quite an impression on my son.   I was shocked to see a site such as this one.  I wish him only the best.

Pete works hard all year round, including the off-season; he really showed how good he is this year in AAA ball.

He definitely deserves a September call-up to the Padres!!!

He taught my 10 year old over the summer at Matt Guiliano's, Play Like a Pro Baseball in Hauppauge. He is the nicest kid, and he helped my son out huge. He deserves a chance to play, the Padres have been out of it since July!!
