This guy is devaated. He told some of the guys and myself. He never thought carliegh would get married and now having a baby. He hasn't been able tom skate since. He tried so many times to get her back by surprise visits . And told me he was even trying to go ring shopping. He told me he went away all star break withnsomeone and was texting carleigh the whole time. He felt awful. He will meet someone he loves again. Actually, that sounds about believable. Normally I don't get involved in the punk bunny drams, but when he was in Jersey he was with her for years and at one point they were even engaged. This was around the 06 Olympics. Not going to name drop her but I am sure some of you may know who I am referring to. She recently got married, and while he is quite a womanizer, I do truly feel just because of what I have been told by friends within his circle and close knit Devils season Ticket holders who got to know some of the players on a off ice basis, that perhaps their breakup DID cause that downward spiral with women and his On Ice performance. Going to New York in the spotlight was a bad move on his part. Perhaps her recent marriage had also really gotten to him. This is just my opinion, but as someone who followed his career since he was drafted, who knows a bit of insider info from legit sources it kind of makes sense.
