Mike's in the Pre Game interviews. the majority is Alfie but he comes in at the end and answers one question. (he needs a new hat lol Carrie, tell your future hubby he needs a new hat!)

Those are after morning practice press meeting.The players are just off the ice.They wear old caps or toques because their hair is still wet.Next comes weight room -showers- meetings/videos then team lunch.They then go home to rest for a few hours and when they come back to the arena pre game they wear "suits".Mike's old ball cap would never leave that room.

Yes she wasn't starting a rumor she was just making a joke to her followers who got it. It is the people who do twitter searches that started the rumor by posting it elsewhere. Most people use twitter to talk to their friends. They don't think other people are actually searching for names and reading it and telling everybody else. That is why my twitter is private. I only allow people I actually know follow me.

Most of these teenagers think its funny to start false rumors and see people react. Shows immaturity because they don't think about what it could cause in the long run. Mike said in an interview after his engagement he was not asking to go to Predators or was he leaving Ottawa.

i don't really see the person as someone trying to start a rumor since she said it wasn't true. everyone is making a bigger deal out of it than it really is. she even said what you said about the interview after the engagement.

I read it on a hockey board, not on Twitter. Dany Heatley was a rumour for a couple of days before it was confirmed. These rumours aren't always on TSN.ca right away.

She said that it was live and not pre-recorded and at least everyone knows that, but she understands why people pre-record it now. She says she'll get them next time.

Well, Carrie is a perfectionist and most of them use a pre-recorded tape played with them using a dead mic (basically lip syncing) because rehearsal with no people, where it was perfection on her part, is different then when you have a full stadium of like 100,000 people and can not hear yourself or your notes. Queen Latifah made that decision to go live also, and both against what the organizer of that part of the show thinks the singers should do because he thinks it should always be a pre-recorded tape, and poor Queen Latifah's went pretty bad. Carrie only had a little note here or there because she could not hear but Queen Latifah seemed to have a worse time. Carrie's voice is so huge and strong that you won't notice it as much. She just does not like the concept of lip syncing was her driving force for wanting it live but a quiet rehearsal can prepare you for a full stadium of that size.

I don't think I am the stupid one who is trolling on a board and spending hours capturing comments, uploading them to tinypics.com and then pasting them on forum just to bug a certain group of people trying to prove my point. I am also not the one trolling the web looking for bad reviews and polls from the "general public"...for someone who obviously isn't much of a Carrie fan, you sure are spending a large amount of your time talking about her. So exactly who is the stupid one again?

Bravo..bravo to Ms. Carrie Underwood, I salute her for brave enough to sing acappella and live. Despite just a little bit miss a note she did a great job, standing there sang with full power, pride and honor.. Love when she belted the Freeeeee part, as that's the climax of the anthem.. 'THE LAND OF THE FREE and the home of the brave" I don't know if there's ever accappella version for this event before, if not, it's a brilliant thing that Carrie has done it. Maybe in the future her version will still be remembered.

Nahhh.. just ignore the negative comments; most of them are just bunch bitter fans of other artist who was being in talk lately regarding her capability of singing ;). Look at the major professional critics; lots of them gave praise for Carrie

Yes, she was. And haters coming in because there might have been a perceived shaky nervous note that no one would notice, because I did not, does not make a bad performance. Carrie does not know how to perform badly. She was great and did a wonderful job in front of something like 120 million people and ever major online outlet agreed. I love what Sports Illustrated said about it: SI BLOG: Huge, huge thumbs up to Carrie Underwood's National Anthem. Not only did she go old school -- no music, no choir, no.gimmicks. She also sang the song as it is written, without the various key changes to show offer her voice. Awesome version. Just awesome.

SO proud of Carrie for singing the Star Spangled Banner live! She sounded really good, the power in her voice is amazing. She definitely had a glitch on the last note but she fought for it and worked it out.It wasn't the iconic version she's capable of but it was really good.

Producers have insisted, like with Jordan Sparks. There are others who have sang it lived and most do. Whitney sang it live before too.

I understand that today Mike has Sens Skill Competition, but when seeing the photos of the CAA SB party last night that many great athletes from various sports ie. Derek Jetter, Alex Rodriguez, Andy Roddick, etc. gathered for this event, I just hope Mike was among them as well. Carrie isn't touring in July and August. She is taking 2 months off. She usually only does a few fairs and festivals in the summer anyway. She may still do a couple of those. Her Fall leg will probably start back up in September or October for a couple of months.

For the Carnival Ride tour, Carrie toured all through June with Jason Michael Carroll, and took off July and August with a few scattered fairs and festivals. I think that was the plan again this time maybe... to do the CMA fest in June and a few weeks of touring, then take off July and August for the wedding and a few scattered fairs/festivals.

Then, the fall tour might start in late September or early October:?

So I bet the wedding will be July or august.

This is apparently a superbowl party at the "W", whatever that is. I suppose it could stand for Westin hotel or something like that. Daughtry in town to perform at the pre-superbowl festivities...that I know.

I thought that Carrie wasn't going to be doing a summer leg of her tour and would take most of the summer off from touring to concentrate on her wedding but now tonight two more dates in Missouri on June.15 and Winnipeg on June.18 have leaked out. Does this mean that she will be doing a summer leg of her tour or what?

The win streak had to end eventually. The good news is the Sens didn't lose any ground to Buffalo or Pittsburgh because they lost in regulation too.

was just watching back carrie's softball videos - I just realized even her peers consider her a superstar =) and on another note, mike and carrie couldn't be more perfect for each other. i love the fact that they respect each other...I think that's even more important. It's not just about physical appearance, or the "sugar high" feeling when you're with someone, it's about respect and trust and love.
