Great trade for the Flames. He was a problem in the dressing room and hasn't performed for the past 2 years def wasn't worth the 6.5 a year they were paying him. As a Flames fan they should of got rid of him last summer and signed Cammalleri, Jokinen and Dawes don't even make up for the huge lose of Cammy... |

they won't do it like that. because then calgary will be looking fo a defensemen. its not going to happen. your dream of spezza coming in would have to either come for a 3 way deal with someone else, or you get rid of a good forward and a draft pick for spezza.the team isnt doing that bad, at least they arent the oilers. |

Actually no he is not failthful to Elisha. i had a friend who does work for the Flames and gets to go on some of the road trips. He went out with them after the game one time and all the puck bunnies were lined up. I had the opprutinity of meeting phaneuf at a club in calgary last weekend. From what I hear, he thinks he's all that and a bag of chips...I think not. Not only is he a lousy defenceman he is also the biggest jerk with the biggest ego.
