Dany Heatley is a great hockey player... Remember his days in Atlanta? Who did he have to set him up? Kovalchuk is not much of a passer. He had Marc Savard, but at the time time, Savard was no where near the player he is today. I think that this thread is a little bit biased, because you're all uneducated on hockey. Dany may be ugly, but he's one hell of an offensive power, and any team would kill to have a forward like him. So to all of you calling him a faggot, and saying he has problems, who cares? At the end of the day, he's a good hockey player, and paired with Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau, he's putting up huge numbers. And everyone has problems, so... |

wow this guy is putting up points with great players all around him. he's sooooooooo amazing. pff. don't get me wrong. i think heatley is one damn good hockey player, but what gets me is that he's on a team with great players. he's getting it handed to him. what can he do with less skilled players? can he make them better, can he motivate a team and be a real leader with less skilled guys? that's what really makes someone a superstar i think. not just having it all handed so easily to you and being around other superstars in the nhl..he's lucky he plays with thorton and marleau. i have no problem with him demanding a trade from the senators. lots of hockey players demand trades for whatever reasons be it. maybe it was that he just didn't get a long with the coach. he got ripped by the media for it and i believe unfairly too, but the thing is that this guy thinks he can just go wherever he wants. whatever is best for him or gives him a chance to win it all. sure guys demand trades but they don't dictate where they want to play. how many players do you think would love to play for the best teams out there...do they have that luxury. NO. do they demand a trade to just be able to play with other superstars or teams that have a good chance of winning it all.NO. that's what makes him unattractive in my opinion. now don't get me wrong i'd probably take sjose over edmonton too, but let's not forget this guy had a list of teams he wanted to be traded to.and low and behold they were all teams that were in the playoffs last season and had a chance of winning it all.....give me a break! |
