Well at least you're getting something good from the weather. I've never heard of shutting down the fed due to snow... but hell, crazier things have happened, I suppose. Russia is probably laughing right now. How do you shut America down? Simple - make it snow, then everything falls apart. Anyway, I'm doing pretty well. I think I must be getting old or something... Awesome game yesterday. I had to run out right after the game, so I missed the Orpik interview. I read about it today. What an ass. Congrats on being an Aunt, Ana! And I'm so jealous you're going to Vancouver. I read that some extra tickets will be up on the site sometime this week without notice, but it's too late now to try to get some :( I'll have to settle for watching it on tv. I don't think Sasha is a baby, and yesterday, I agree with RK that he helped sell the call.. My rant topic of the day is Crosby haters. Everyone b*tches about Crosby crying for calls all the time and selling stuff to the refs - sorry, I see Ovie doing it just as frequently. ALL of the players do it. I don't see why everyone gets in a tizzy about it. Oh, and the "*insert name here* sucks" chant is entirely pointless. Hi Ellie! Lots of snow @ my place too - 27 inches! I spent so much time shoveling yesterday I don't think I can move today! Good though since I plan on planting my butt in front of a TV for the Caps game. As far as I know, the Pens made it last night from Newark by bus and all is scheduled as planned. I went with Kulemin, and wouldn't you know, he scored! should have pulled it out games ago. :)) the game was awesome last night.. place was rockin, I love it!! the 3 new guys were the 3 stars. RK, sorry to hear about your kitty. that made me sad. :(( I hope she gets better soon. I know how brutal those vet bills can be sometimes, I often have to give them to people.. yikes. well.. Sasha was bad with the penalties, but he extended his P streak to 10 games. longest of his career. so, yay for that. :)) last night was a great hockey hockey night. :)) okay.. What a day. My cat just got out of emergency surgery... not sure how it happened (we think a stray dog picked her up by the neck and shook her) but she had a separated trachea... let's see how bad the bill is when I pick her up tomorrow before I decide on Buffalo. It seems like every time a little bit of cash gets saved up, some kind of animal disaster strikes, requiring surgery and $2842384902384 from the bank account. And, of course, I'm too much of a sucker to not save the pets. Go figure. -RK |
