Jonathan Ericsson

The g.f. from Sweden didn't come into the pic until 2 summers ago. During the playoffs ('08), I showed him around to a few places on the East-side (where no one knew him & he was very embarrassed that they almost didn't let him into Fishbone's on only a passport), and we would watch movies at my house. He was always very sweet. I felt so bad for him, because all of this was new to him, and even as great as he is, he felt insecure.
Right after the Wings won in '08, Jonathan had to go back to Sweden. It was difficult, since I was really getting to know him & enjoyed his company, but reality is that he loves being in Sweden & there's no way I would go there. He has a heart of gold and is such a giving person. No matter what girl captures his heart, his 1st love will forever be hockey.
He is dedicated 100% to whatever he does. It just sucks that he is having back spasms, just like I have been experiencing for about 5 years. I just found out about his. I really hope everything works out for the best for him. He really is a great guy. :)
Also, know that he is by far a modest man that is not a cheater. Maybe Swedes are just different than American athletes in that regard. Be nice to this guy... He works out 6 times a day, even when in Sweden.
