You people really don't know what you are talking about. Hasselbeck is a great QB. The Offensive line sucks. How many throws has he thrown that haven't been caught cause no one on the team can catch. You are all saying hasselback sucks cause no one protects his, and no one can catch a ball then you can say he sucks. Hasselbeck has always thrown the ball spot on

I think that Pete is buying his time, waiting to make a major move like punting Hasseldick out, until this season is over.  The coaches and higher-ups can't be that blind.  We need a real QB.  IMO, that's the missing puzzle piece to an otherwise good team (not great, but good).

It's so difficult to watch a game and root for the Seahawks.  The defense is getting it done; playing their hardest every play.  Seattle's defense is on the field more than any other team in the league.  When Seattle gets the ball, Hasselbeck either goes 3-and-out or throws an interception.  He's not getting any younger; it's not like he'll be better next year.  Why is he getting play time? Put Whitehurst in so at least we'll have a shot (next year).

Hasselbeck is NOT a leader on the field. He does not inspire any sort of confidence in the team; And that is apparent every time they do manage to get close to a Touchdown and walk away with 3. How can you see he is the worst qb in seahawks history? Have you forgotten the 2005 season? Where he lead seattle to its first super bowl appearance in franchise history? He has got his flaws don't get me wrong. But he definitely is an above average NFL quarterback who has the ability to lead his team into the playoffs.
