I have BPD.  God Bless you for going to McLean's and getting help.  You are right.  It has been a constant struggle living life and all of my relationships have been touched bby this diagnosis.  I was diagonosed when I was 56 years old.  My grown children are working on trying to understand me.  I have done DBT and continue counseling.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of those you love.

It takes an extremely strong man to admit to the world that he has a mental disorder and, anyone who says otherwise, needs to walk a mile in your shoes!  Thank God you received a proper diagnosis and treatment for it.  Thank YOU for speaking up, standing up for the thousands of people who haven't been able to do so for themselves.

In all seriousness it's really kind of sad how society has set up women to constantly compete with one another. Blondes vs. Brunettes, black women vs. white women.
