I played against Brand numerous times in high school and got a chance to talk to him on occasion. He's a real nice guy with a good head on his shoulders.  Hate on him if you must, and given the 76ers past few seasons I can't blame ya, but don't talk about his family and personal life.  There is just so much other crap in this world to be mad at.  N

He hasn't done anything for the Sixers. They signed him to such a big contract and can't do squat. Its not because he is hurt. He takes up all the teams cap space so they can't afford a good player to go along with Iguodala. He also doesn't fit in with the teams style of play. They had a chance at getting Josh Smith instead of Brand. Which was a horrible move considering Smith would completely fit in with the Sixers athlectic fast pace team. I think it would be a good move to release him and Willie Green, they would be able to sign Michael Beasley. A good PF that would fit with the Sixers. They still wouldn't end up being such a good team but better then Brand as there PF.
