Why is it, people on here think, you are being homophobic?? Why can't you just know because of a close association to someone on the team..and you've seen w/your own eyes..

There's plenty of gay/Bi/DL athletes in the league, hell all over the sports industry. But as we all know sports is a very masculine activity, and alot of guys out there wouldn't want to find out that their favorite player likes sword fighting. Also alot of the DL/Bi one's their wives may be emotinally and mentally damaged after she found out. I feel that's one of the reasons some of them are afraid to come out do to shunned by everyone, mainly their straight male followers. But it's 2009, gays are very outspoken now-a-days and down for each other so the fear shouldn't be as stiff anymore, but I guess it is. I thought John Amechi would open the door for alot of them but I guess not.

I agree with the comment below. I strongly believe Magic Johnson, Isaiah Thomas, and a few others are bi.

Magic and Isaiah used to greet each other with a kiss on the cheek when the two played against each other in the NBA.

Cat, is a cool guy, I dated him his rookie year back in Houston...he is very down to earth, he loves to watch movies (has a huge DVD collection) and play pool.  He had a girl from back home (philly) by the name of Tiff and I believe she is the mother of his son (not sure though).  Anyway, he is NOT GAY and if you knew him you would never question it!!!  So he wears chapstick...he gets chapped lips if he doesn't no big deal!!  Lots of guys get pedi's does not mean he is gay, just means he has good personal hygeine.  Anyway, he is a gentleman!!  I have not seen or spoken to him in years!!  last time I saw him we were both at a club in Houston (not together) and I was drunk, he came over to me took my keys so I would not drive home drunk...he has his cousin drive my truck and I rode with him...he made sure I got in my house safe and said goodnight...nothing else...he is a true gentleman...I hope he is well and happy!!

cuttino is a genuine guy, I have never slept with him, he has always been nice to me and my friends.

When a woman moves in with a professional athlete and assuming that she doesn't have a job

(1) Does he put her on his health insurance policy?

(2) What happens if she gets sick?

(3) What happens to a "live-in" girlfriend should the professional athlete become deceased?

(4) What about her life insurance?

(5) Does he give her money to spend? If so, what determines the amount he is going to give her?

(6) If she drives his cars, does he put her on his auto insurance policy?

(7) If she doesn't work, what does she do all day?

(8) If she becomes pregnant and he does not carry her on his health insurance policy, how are her medical bills paid?

I mean, how can you just live with somebody without thinking about those things?

Posts like these are an indication of the world we live in. Cuttino is a good man. He had a best friend and people said they were gay. At what point did our society decide that 2 men cannot be friends and have a genuine love and respect for each other. Almost like brothers, without being gay. We, as women do it all the time. Hig and kiss our best friends. We sleep in the same bed.

Im taking it further than I imagine Cat and Steve did. My point is that does not make someone gay. He is a rare breed. A truly good man with a pure heart. Almost innocent like a child.

You will all think what you want. And Im sure people will post ignorant things after this one... but seriously. The world we live in and raise our children in is created by US. What are we teaching them? To be homophobes and to hate.

I can tell you first hand that he loves women. He is polite, caring, extremely deep, sensual and not like any other man Ive ever known. I absolutely do not have a negative word to speak about him.

Maybe you ladies (and possibly men) should pay closer attention to your own lives and stop speculating on the lives of other people.
