Alls i know is that Porland Idolized this man. Really, he was a hero to the northwest and to the trailblazers. This town has been in dismay since the lakers paid for the win against the blazers in game 7 of the finals in 1999. After the dismantling of the "new age bad boys" we were left wondering if there would ever be another portland team we could embrace. To top off the anxiety the northwest loses the Supersonics (thanks stern and that shady starbucks guy). Enter Nate Mcmillian. This guy is amazing. 2006 rolls around and B-roy gets drafted from none other than the northwest own washington huskies. at first glance (and listen) we were like "oh great another PR stunt" DUDE, we dont want "cool" people, we want a championship!!! Little did i know that this man would win our hearts and build up a realistic hope for Portland fans and Northwesterns alike. You can showboat your talents get your stats and promotion deals, but what the NBA, or proffesional sports for that matter) has been missing since the early 90's has been that guy that dont say much and makes it happen when nobody else has the balls and all hope has been lost (shout out to tebow) But on the real tip, nothing has ever been more inspiring to me in all of sports when in 2011 game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks portland down 23 points in the fourth quarter. I was watching the game in my living room with a couple of homies. B-roy, on the bench coming off surgery 8 days earlier to repair a torn maniscus gets announced into the game. At first i thought no way, but then it hit me. As a couple of tears of Joy and Inspiration trickled down my cheeks I said to myself, This is the Legendary Brandon Roy, this dude could seriously come out here with crutches and put up 30points. He ended up with 24, 18 of them in the forth quarter with an epic Miller-esk performance from behind the arc to win the game and Solidify his place in Blazer and NBA Lore. ive only been around 30 years, so i havent seen a whole lot, but during the last decade of hardships and War we urned for something to hold on to, to embrace call our own and ultimatley give us hope where almost all had been lost. I agree with anonymous, I have know Juliet since I was 5 years old, she is a great friend, she is beautiful inside and out (and was a model for quite some time in Europe) dont judge, they love each other and I met him a couple of times when she came to visit.  They are great together.
