She placed the finishing touches on the table just as she heard his knock. Squealing with delight she flung open the door, "Hi Sweet Daddy," she murmurred into his belly. "Hey baby-doll," he murmurred into her soft natural curls. He could the moisture in her hair and on her freshly bathed skin. Taking his hand she led him to the table, smiling sweetly as his eyes took in the home-cooked food. "You know baby, being on the road is not so bad this year...must be the food." The laughed together, happy as alwasy, just to be together, anytime, any place.
