Over rated, way over shown, wrecker!
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on 2011-11-13T09:42:56
Can he go one race with out wrecking and being a complete idiot? I think he's the worst driver in the world. And if i was his father i would totally not let a crappy driver like steve drive for me even if he was my son. I thought that jason leffler was the worst driver ever. But it looks like steve proved me wrong because he's the worst driver EVER!!! He will never win. I also thought it was funny when that crew chief pulled his hair!:D The little brat deserved it....

Reply-to:You guys have got to be the most ignorant, red neck, pieces of white trash.  If you had any knowledge of stock car racing, especially within the nationwide series, where the superiorly funded cup affiliated teams rule the series and dominate the politicization of every action taken (especially with rule changes)...you would understand (as im sure 99% of you are already lost at this point due to your lack of education and unwillingness to take in facts, which is so blatantly demonstrated by your ignorance) that the comparatively extremely under funded nationwide ONLY teams are at such a HUGE disadvantage from the very instance that they even make the decision to take part in this particular racing series, you would know without equivocation, that every single one of the nationwide only drivers (from nationwide only teams, with absolutely no cup affiliation) have less than 1/2 of 1% chance of EVER winning a race. Im a statistics professor, so this math is in no way an exaggeration.  Now, with this in mind, lets take a look at the full time drivers that fit into this category (in order by 2011 car #): mike wallace, kenny wallace, robert richardson, coleman pressley, eric mcclure, kevin lepage, mike bliss, kelly bires, derrike cope, josh wise, scott wimmer, jeremy clements, brett rowe, michael annett, steve wallace, shelby howard, jennifer cobb, nemechek, and morgan shepherd. Turner motorsports, financially speaking, is a clone of a cup affiliated team because of the unlimited funds in which they can work with (exactly just like the cup affiliated natiowide teams) Now, 99% of the time , during practice sessions, qualifying, race results, and season standings...Steve wallace is ranked first out of all these drivers.  This is comparing apples to apples.  Not only is he consistenly on top in every facet of the series when comparing him to his equals (financially speaking), and again comparing apples to apples, but he frequently finishes higher in races, has faster practice times, qualifies better, and ranks higher in the standing than many of the cup affiliated drivers.  These are pure facts. The numbers and the math are as objective as you can get in measuring the success or lack thereof for a driver.  It is quite evident that the vast majority of the comments posted thus far on this forum are based on subjective thoughts, which serves absolutely no value at all when measuring ones abilities/skills/accomplishments.  I hope this isnt news to you all, but it is how the rest of the REAL world operates.  Now that i have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that steve wallace is by far the most successful driver in his particlar grouping (non-cup affiliated, under funded, full-time natiowide only drivers), i would like to finally mention the most impressive, and awe inspiring aspect to this whole thing....and that is: steve wallace is able to do all of this with an officially diagnosed neuropsychiatric disorder (tourettes syndrome) which severely inhibits ones physicality and therefore (in the case of steves profession) have an intense negative influence on ones ability to drive a regular automobile, nevermind a high performace race car.  I have followed all forms of auto racing my entire life and i raced cars (street stock and hobby stock) when i was younger (im 40 yrs old).  I have a vast knowledge of nascar drivers, past and present, cup, nationwide, and truck.  I know that according to reports from 2004 till mid 2006 that steves father rusty often had steve accompany him to his test sessions, and rusty accompanied steve to his test sessions and they would often times take laps in the others car.  Rusty Wallace is a former cup champion and a 55 points race winner, and everytime they would get in the others seat, steve had the faster lap times every time (over his father).  This was when he was still in his developmental stage.  This fact stands alone as being extremely impressive.  It is time that you guys stop judging drivers (and probably every single human alive in your {plural} instance) by whether or not you like them or by what you want to see and ignoring what you do not want to see.  It is just plain disturbing that this type of thinking is still going on in this day and age.  You really are making yourselves look ignorant (as i stated before), but more pathetically just plain stupid.  You do not necessarily have to like someone in order to respect them.  Wake up and absorb reality....Steve wallace is an amazing driver, and to be honest i do not necessarily like him as an individual or his father...and i certainly do NOT want to listen to them speak, but the plain fact is Steve can drive...and drive exceedingly well. (FACT)  I welcome any kind of rebuttal or anyone to contend what i have just proved.  I would really really like to hear a formidable argument contrary to mine.

I'd say that Steven Wallace posted this but I'm pretty sure he has the spelling abilities of a 7th grader so it must not be him.

Reply-to:I was fighting a sexuality identity crisis. I was a little confused and me and Steve were very good friends. We shared the same hobbies, we both enjoyed coin collecting and working on cars. Anyway I grew out of that and Steve says he did too.

It is a shame that he can not sue the hell out of you for your piddling slander. Karma is coming your way, if it has not already arrived.

I'd like to see a poor boy from outside the nascar families have the chances like wallace and others brought up on their daddy's name get a chance to race. There's a 15 year old here at a local track that could run with any of them.  The most talented will never have the chance to compete.  Jr. who....

just wondered if there were others!! I see you all agree with me about SW. Is it just because of Rusty that nobody says the obvious. He has caused (a high for even him) 3 wrecks but is still on the track in NH. It's really unbelievable how un-talented he is.

You can tell he is an ass. That worthless US Fedelis insurance they advertised says alot about those crooks. It was nothing but a rip off. They didn't give you the list of what is not covered until you had a problem. I think the kid is a couple bricks shy of a load!

He is a spoiled little brat, on and off the track... I don't know much about him on the track... because I am not a racing fan... But I deal with him a lot where I work... lets just say he likes to destroy property of a bar and make a complete ass out of himself and thinks he is funny by doing so, and he talks down to staff members unless they kiss his ass... he has no respect for other people or local businesses

This guy apparently grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth thanks to Rusty's successes. He needs to develop a little humility & recognize that race fans are who support racing & racecar drivers..........and he isn't doing much to build a fan base. He's still a spoiled juvenile, but maybe he'll grow up one day.
