Nascar can do what ever they feel is a plus for Nascar. There was a race where it was shown there was something on the track which stayed there for over 40 laps but nothing was called until the time when Nascar needed to pull a caution and did. All these drivers meet behind closed doors to discuss how to make the sport more exciting for the fans. These drivers are set for the rest of their lives.

As i recall there was a past incident where Jr passed a car below the yellow line but he was forced there, so why wasn't that called the same way? are they paying the way of the toyota's? Nascar is up to it's old tricks again. Depends on who they want to win. Rules state on the last lap you can go below the yellow line. Unless you aren't on the win list for Nascar that week. If i recall when Jeff Gordon did it , it was in the rule book.
