dan henderson was getting the best of anderson until the choke. fighting at 185 dan has no cardio. i personally think andy would get KO'd by dan at 205, or a catch weight of 195. chael trashed andy for 4.5 rounds. murdered him standing, and on the mat. andy is a great fighter, but look at who he's fought. the competition at 185 isn't great, and the number 1 contender has taken out a who's who of the top 10 in that division while andy has jumped weight classes and gotten hand picked fights. andy fought a one dimensional slugger leben in his first ufc fight. fought a one dimensional bjj guy in lutter. a one dimensional bjj guy in maia. he thought chael was a one dimensional wrestler. vitor win was impressive, but vitor threw one combo before sitting on his heels and got KO'd. look at his best wins. chael sonnen is his best win and he got dominated in that fight. he doesn't push the action, he throws very little. that being said his counter attack is unbelievable and he can end fights in a hurry. but forest griffin? thats a give me. speed kills. i remember dana and the ufc brass threatening to cut andy after he was dancing around hiding behind the ref unwilling to engage. why did andy fight rich franklin a second time when he murdered him the first time? seems he's always dictating what fights he gets and hes the champion. fight the top guys. love his skill, love him as a fighter, i just think there's a lot of behind the scenes stuff that clouds the picture. now he gets the rematch with chael in his backyard. once again, the champ is getting the advantage. crazy.

If you watch all of his fights including the losses,with an open mind,its real easy to see what kind of guy he really is,theres not much to like about him or his "fight" style.He may be respectful to his training partners and a few others but beyond that hes not.

He is perfectly suited for a cowardly fighting style,the way he uses his lanky frame(e.g. monkey mode) and his speed(jackass mode) to piss off or frustrate his opponent so they want to bash his head in,then when they buy into his game plan and go on the attack he simply counters them or just behaves like a total jackass in general.

Think about it....how would you feel if some asshole stood in front of you and antagonized you trying to get you to fight,then either runs away when you make a move or just stands there expecting you to make the first move then goes ballistic on you when you try to engage?...its cowardly as hell the way he does it and it gets old fast.

His cocky,arrogant and disrespectful fight style is only working against him and hes going to get what he has coming to him soon enough.Personally,i think it would be entertaining to see him get laid out the way bisping did in his fight with henderson.

I'm a huge UFC and MMA fan but I will never get another PPV with that arrogant, cocky, piece of shit anderson silva again. Unless its against GSP, a real fighter that actually has humility and class, so i can watch GSP take him down and smash him. Silva is the orchestrator of massive snorefests. He doesn't even put on a show for his fans, and he sleepwalks through his fights. He is a completely cocky asshole, an embarrassment to the sport, and paying to watch his Ultimate Dancing Championships is a waste of money. His weight division is weak, and instead of stepping up to heavyweight or at least light heavyweight, he continues to have lame ass fights with chumps. The only thing I can say to those people who support Silva is this: Yes, he hasn't won all his fights,he has only not lost them. As for beating the shit out of fighters, he used to do that. Damien Maia was WAY out matched in that fight and he still went 5 rounds. Champions don't always finish but they should try to finish. I'll start by saying, sure Silva is a good fighter.. But to start he's one of the most disrespectful fighters I've ever seen perform in the UFC. If you're really THAT good of a fighter, there's no need for you to get into the octagon and taunt someone, just finish the fight immediately if you are really that talented. Second, Silva has been so hyped by everyone surrounding the UFC that when he steps into the octagon and taunts his opponents and makes it look as if they don't want to fight him, it seems that no one looks at the other side and says "Well wait, why is Silva bringing the fight to them if he's so confident?". And last, I just want to mention the fact the Silva normally walks around at 220-230 lbs. He's closer to competing as a Heavyweight or at least a Light Heavyweight, as compared to him continuously competing in a fairly weak Middleweight class. I also wanna give Demian Maia a shout out for his performance tonight. It was nice to see someone call out Silva for once (as he did in the 4th and 5th rounds). Silva wouldn't even attack a bloodied, one eye opponent for whatever reason. I was hoping that Maia would get a hold of his arm at some point and just tear it off. Aw well, it's only time before Silva is put up against someone who's going to expose Silva for the good, not amazing, fighter he is.

In all honesty, I really lost respect for Anderson when he started just playing around with his opponents.  However, there is one thing I like about that man, and it's all the problems he's causing that nutsack, Dana White.  LMFAO.

Anderson Silva is pathetic. He should be stripped of his title and removed from UFC. I will never buy another UFC card with him on it.
