First off, no hater here....after reading plenty of the comments yes indeed, you are correct, there are but a few haters leaving ridiculous posts. I would have to say in my post I did nothing but commend Matt, stating he is a good man, with good morals, and great personality. Just that I was a little dissapointed in how things fell through. Where do I begin... well I met him while he was in my town playing our hometeam...and he was really cool and polite. When came time to ask him what he did for a living, he told me he played for the Marlins. So I INSTANTLY backed off a bit.. because I know the stereotype with athletes. And I hate to be judgemental but hey, 9.9 times they're all the same. I was very respectful of myself, and towards him, and in no way acted like most girls who throw themselves at athletes. He kept trying to hang out with me, and I eventually agreed to have lunch...(he did get me and my friend tickets to a game) so I figured it's just lunch. Well things went great! Instant connection, we talked about life, family, hobbies, interests, etc. I learned so much about him, outside of all the baseball stuff. He insisted wanting to keep in touch, and I told him that was on him, and that I'm not puting myself out there. So we sort of did keep in touch...and he came back out to my town to play our team.. and we hung out again. He once again insisted keeping in touch, and seeing eachother after the season was over...and said he wanted me to get to know him outside of baseball. I was hesitant because I don't trust anyone..let alone an athlete. But he seemed so sincere, and made me request off work a few days, so we could see eachother. And boom, he fell of the face of the earth. NEVER heard from him again. And let me state, I never got physical with him, not even a simple kiss, NOTHING. I respected my body, and maintained my dignity. So what happened? I will never know. I can only say, I was truly hurt, and dissapointed, because I really didn't want to judge him, or categorize him as your "typical athlete." He is a good man, with good morals, sweet, and generous...and great sense of humor. I'm not here to dog him...but just giving other ladies a heads up.

Jackie went to the games with a close friend of mine...and my friend said there was only one time Jackie actually went over to the guys...that the guys would come to her..throw her balls with numbers....my friend sits pretty much ON the field and she brings all of us to the games...she and Jackie used to be close but then had some problems...she still says it wasnt Jackie who went after Matt...Matt just became uniterested after a while and it got a little messy

No matter how you want to judge Matt Lindstrom - personal life or performance on the field - there is no way you can honestly write or say one bad thing about this young man.  Dedicating 2 prime years of his career to helping and assisting the needy and elderly without pay or compensation is just one measuring stick not to mention his resiliency on the field to come back night after night and do what very few others in the Bigs have the ability to do.  He is special, unique, talented and kinder than hell so leave him the freak alone unless you have something constructive to say. And who he decides to date or not date is probably best left to him - did any of us tell you who you should or shouldn't see?  Thank you.
