All I know about Carlos is that he lived in Burrough's Mills in Cherry Hill, NJ a few years ago. He lived next door and was squiring an attractive woman named Mary who worked for the property management office. He was very shy and elusive. I remember him giving an interview to the Panamanian press in front of my window. Mary was the apple of his eye and finally moved in with him.She was Latino and brunette.

By Enrique Rojas ESPNdeportes.com Archive CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Catcher Carlos Ruiz left the Philadelphia Phillies' camp on Wednesday to travel to Panama to attend to a family matter, the team said. The team did not disclose the nature of the family matter, but a source close to Ruiz told ESPNdeportes.com that the catcher's wife had a Cesarean section on Tuesday. Her doctors recommended the procedure because the baby was in an awkward position. The baby boy, who weighed 9 pounds at birth, is the couple's first child, and Ruiz's second. "The doctors talked about this possibility early in the process and decided to move the child's birth. Carlos traveled to be sure all is well with his wife," the source added. The Phillies said that Ruiz is expected back in camp by this weekend. Ruiz, 32, hit .302 with eight home runs and 53 RBIs and caught 29 percent of runners attempting to steal in 121 games last season. Enrique Rojas is a reporter and columnist for ESPNdeportes.com.

I would look on website and see if there is a link/email to "people with special needs section", they might be able to help somehow,  or try fandev@phillies.com , this is the contact email for junior phillies club and maybe if you put info into an email to that address they can direct you.   My 2 kids are also huge Carlos phans, both catchers, very hard to get Carlos because he is almost always warming-up the starting pitcher, met him at he ALS Phestival, very nice. We too will b at game for Carlos day. Good luck.

can anyone help me?   my nephew is 21 years of age and is mentally challenged.  He recently graduated from high school and we are planning on surprising him by taking him to a phillies game.  We are taking him to the 8/24/10 game because Carlos Ruiz is his hero and they are giving away carlos ruiz bobbleheads; do you know how we could possibly meet Mr. Ruiz and maybe get his signature?  Jimmy would be so excited and happy!  He is so special, always smiling no matter what challenges he faces - he is so loving and is so loved - Jimmy teaches everyone he meets what it means to be open and friendly - and just good.  I am so proud of him and would love to do something for him that would make him happy beyond anything - he cannot speak but will form the letter "C" with his hand and this means Carlos Ruiz - please, if there is anyone out there who knows of any way that we might get him to meet Mr. Ruiz - that would be a gift beyond compare - thanks.
