You bridge trolls need to stop trying to go there about CC's weight. He is actually slimming down and he's more of an athlete than 99 percent of you couch bums. Flat out, he's rocking and you guys are mad. Get over it and stop hating on the Yanks for having a larger cap salary. Go get jobs if you're mad about being broke. Crying about it on the net won't help you. |

He's still a nice, down-home Vallejo, CA boy. Always comes back to Vallejo to do things for the community, which can use it. He does TV ads for a Vallejo car dealership with his wife; she's a lovely woman, and they have a nice chemistry. |

The Yanks should fire Cashman for signing this loser and for not getting rid of Hughes/Kennedy/Cabrera for Santana...that's the guy we needed in our rotation...not tubby |

i never thought him that great in the AL. The Yanks did pretty well against him. No way should he be the No. 1 starter. What a shame and a waste of money. |

I have to agree with you. Im a long time Yankees fan as well, and although Pavano never pitched well, who blame him for all the injury's. Jared just plain out sucked. As for CC go back to the NL u are over rated and no longer an ace in the AL u have made my season a disappointment so far. and its only been the first game |

I agree...I never like the signing of him. Being a Yankees fan for many years now, this was one a of the worst signings I've ever witnessed them make. Although Carl Pavano and Jared Wright may have been worse signings...this doesn't fall very short. He fell off greatly while in the AL, then went to the NL where 1) hardly any hitters have seen him, 2) the 7-8 batters are easy outs, not to even mention the pitcher!, and a much weaker division than the one he left. I'm sorry to say, but this'll be a VERY long season... |

I can NOT believe that CC went to New York;I didn't think that he would based on things he said(which basically turned out to be HUGE BS!!!!!!)-he said it wasn't all about the money-it was also about happiness.Also thought he wanted to go to a team on the west coast.I'm sorry-I don't think he's going to find that happiness there in New York.The Yankees make me sick the way they throw that money around.It's really despicable when you think about the state of our economy!!!!!!!!!!! |
